About Us
Our History
Bill Horowitz unearthed a passion for media and communication when running Drake University’s radio and television stations in the 1970s. From there, his love of sports took him to ESPN, where he honed an understanding of the media and marketing landscape. Spearheading the campaign to invent the sports ticker, Bill worked relentlessly to create ways to engage audiences. After 13 years formative years at ESPN, Bill decided to grow his passion for marketing into his own firm. In 1995, Bill founded Marketing Partnerships International, a Chicago-based marketing and media buying agency.
In 2012, Brett Horowitz joined MPI to grow MPI’s digital team. A proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Brett and his team bring experience in running a variety of digital marketing campaigns focused on achieving results. MPI’s digital and traditional side work collaboratively to build the most effective and efficient media strategies and plans so MPI clients exceed their goals.
